🐦🦐 My Review of the Bubba Gump Shrimp New Year’s Eve Party (Ball Drop View!)

Hey Reader

Since 2025 is now just over halfway over, it got me thinking about this past year’s New Year’s Eve. For the second year in a row, I spent it in Times Square with a live view of the famous Ball Drop! 🎊

Instead of Olive Garden, I chose to spend it at Bubba Gump Shrimp this time!

In this post, you can find my review of the party along with a comparison of how it stacked up against Olive Garden. If you’ve ever dreamed of seeing the NYC Ball Drop in person, you’ve got to check this out:

WHAT IT’S LIKE CELEBRATING NEW YEAR’S EVE AT BUBBA GUMP SHRIMP IN TIMES SQUARE (BALL DROP VIEW!) 🎉

Bubba Gump Shrimp Party: My Times Square New Year’s Eve 2024 Adventure

They say there’s no better place to ring in the new year than Times Square in New York City—and for the second year in a row, I decided to put that theory to the test.

I spent New Year’s Eve once again with a live view of the ball drop, only this time… it was from the fantastic Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.!

Olive Garden vs. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

When it came time to decide how I’d spend New Year’s Eve this year, the idea of returning to Times Square felt both thrilling and daunting.

The energy in Times Square on New Year’s Eve is hard to describe. The best I can do is show you a video.

I recorded this video right outside Bubba Gump Shrimp as we counted down for 2025! In my Olive Garden party review, you can find a video I took from that location, if you’re interested in seeing the differences.

Incredible, isn’t it?

Hey Reader It all started on a whim. It was Christmas Eve. While scrambling to find a few last-minute gifts, I was standing in a Target aisle, debating whether or not to buy a Polaroid camera. My family would soon be heading to my grandparents’ house for our traditional Christmas celebration, and I had this idea that bringing an instant camera could add a fun, nostalgic twist to Christmas Eve 2023. Something about the idea of snapping real, physical photos in the moment just felt right. So,...

Hi Reader This week, I’ve taken a slight deviation from my usual format of sending out new blog posts one by one for a weekly round up! After getting back from Spain recently where I attended a wedding for one of my best friends, I was reminded of my trip to visit her in Amsterdam exactly two summers ago. I started going down memory lane and I was inspired to finally write about my trip - something I’ve long been wanting to share with all of you! 🇳🇱 It begins with this story: How My First...

I've published a new post! In consideration of the uncontrolled wildfires in Canada that caused record-breaking hazardous air quality and habitat destruction, I wanted to visit the New York City Audubon Mural Project. The Mural Project aims to raise awareness about birds threatened by climate change by featuring over 314 species of endangered birds. The project is a public art initiative that commissions artists to paint murals of each threatened bird in various neighborhoods around all...
